 View ManualRecoupAerator is a whole-house Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) that exchanges the stale air of an average-sized home with clean fresh air about once every two hours. It provides both ventilation and filtration, capturing pollens and mold spores before fresh air is released in to the home. This makes the RecoupAerator uniquely suited for asthmatics and allergy sufferers. RecoupAerator also removes the many contaminants created from inside the home. The RecoupAerator controls temperature and humidity in such way that it keeps mold spores and dust mites from surviving and multiplying. The 200DX also features a wide variety of external indoor air quality control devices including EconoCool and frost prevention, making it the smartest unit around. Another important feature of RecoupAerator is that the air stream is automatically balanced so you never have to worry about making seasonal adjustments.
How it works RecoupAerator is connected to the duct work of your HVAC system. Equipped with two fans, one fan draws fresh air into the building while the other pushes stale air out. As the two air streams cross, they pass through the patented heat exchanger that transfers both heat and moisture from one air stream to another. In other words, the heat from the air being exhausted is transferred to the fresh inbound air.As outside air enters RecoupAerator, it’s also forced through a MERV 12 filter to capture incoming contaminants. After passing through the patented heat exchanger, the warmed or cooled fresh air is distributed through the house through the existing HVAC duct work. About 95% of the heat energy from the outbound stale air is transferred to the incoming air flow. This creates incoming air temperature closer to the temperature already inside the home, therefore requiring less energy to condition the new air. This process is why RecoupAerator is the least expensive ERV to own and operate.

WarmFlo™  View Manual WarmFlo is a high-efficiency defrost system which can be installed with your new RecoupAerator unit or added in the future. The WarmFlo system is recommended when outdoor temperatures reach 10°F for extended periods of time. Pre-Heater warms incoming air before it reaches the RecoupAerator. WarmFlo Post Heater delivers additional heat into the ducted space using air flow from the RecoupAerator fan - an excellent solution to heat poorly insulated areas. 12” Water-to-Air Coil Module  View Manual The 12” Water to Air Coil Module is designed for use as a heating or cooling, fluid to air heat exchanger that can be placed before or after the ERV in the incoming fresh air stream. When installed before the ventilation unit, the module acts as a pre heater or cooler (and dehumidifier) before the air enters the ventilator. When installed after the ERV, the module can be used to heat or cool the space. Dual Function Timer  View Manual This timer is used to boost RecoupAerator to high speed for a set amount of time, or for cycling your RecoupAerator on and off at different timed intervals such as peak shower periods or while cooking. PressureGuard™  View Manual PressureGuard® continuously monitors and automatically adjusts airflow to maintain the selected indoor to outdoor pressure differential. A home that becomes depressurized is more susceptible to moisture and build up of gases. Veris CO2 Occupancy Sensor  View Manual The Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Sensor Switch automatically boosts RecoupAerator to high speed to bring in more fresh air when CO2 levels become elevated. This switch must be installed in a location where carbon dioxide levels may be a concern, such as areas where people gather or where a significant time is spent.
